mudflap question?

this might be a stupid question.. but i was wondering if you were able to put the iconic volvo mudflaps that say volvo on them from the 242's, 244's and 245's on to the newer 240's from 86-93? would they fit?

Probably. All that matters is the contour of the fender, and that hasn't really changed much. The old flaps attached to a horizontal bracket in there but that can easily be made I suppose...
