OK...I'm checking a couple of other forums to see if anyone near you has one.

To swap like for like is roughly 5 shop hours of labor. Swapping in a manual is a bit more of a chore. The pedal cage, swapping the front drive shaft, re-enforcing the firewall where the clutch cable passes through, routing the circuit for the electric OD on the M46 (M47 avoids that chore) is tedious more than anything.
When swapping auto's, care needs to be taken w/ the converter so the seal doesn't get FUBAR'd. The cooling lines need to handled w/ care too, but you've already been through that.

i had to replace the main seal and the input shaft seals... the lines were blown but the 2 closest JY's they only have two volvos????? what only two ???? i dont think volvo in south carolina is that popular.. wierd becouse i see 2,7,9,and newer all over.. the junk yard says they crush em asap becouse there is not much demand for them.... there a little backwords!!!! imo.. but thanks for looking and thank you for your time. i just got to keep my baby alive, plus my sons love it more then the minivan, they call her the tank becouse they cant open the doors themselves.. swift you the man, do you still got the manual trany? maby wit my tax return ill give it a go...
oh ya i had to braze the lines untill i can scrape some dough together and fork it over to the stealer!!! bummer....!!!
