I was testing the the two contacts in the connector thing (with the wires attached), was I supposed to test the contacts on the sensor itself? (pardon my ignorance but I'm kind of new to this, brakes and oil were my main thing).

I tested the sensor itself (the contacts on it). The car was last run about 8 hours ago, so not sure what the temp would be considered, I got a reading of just over 1500 ohms. There are two contacts in the sensor itself and got the same reading on both.

Checked it again, now 13 hours later, I got a reading of 1750 ohms. Thoughts? Will check it again in about 10 hours before work to see if the ohms went up anymore as they should?

Thanks again for all the help, I know I analyze stuff a lot.

Mike

Update.

Check the sensor again, now almost 24 hours since the engine was last running. I still have readings in the 1500ohm range (same as before) but the meter will also sometimes cycle through like it's trying to find the reading but keeps running through numbers from 200-1800.

Will check the wiring back to the ECU and ICU when I get a chance.

How do I find that right terminals to test on the ECU and ICU? I found them under the glove box, but which is which? and how do I find the right spot? I know it's 13 on one and 6 on the other?
