Default New Head Unit and Speaker Issues

Hi Guys,

I recently bought a 92 240GL. The previous owner replaced the head unit and door speakers. The front door speakers were too big i'm guessing so they just screwed them on to the door. I replaced the head unit to get access to an auxiliary port. I noticed it was a little more difficult than other units I had replaced because the wires were not color-coded. Now, my door front speakers do not work. When installing I just switched out the new wires for the head unit with the old ones. I know I may sound like a total n00b when it comes to cars, and that's probably because I am. Does anyone have any advice of what to look for?

frankly, someone smart who understands car stereo and wiring needs to look at it, we have no way of guessing whats been done.
