Hey Y'all. I've got a BEAUTIFUL '92 240 Wagon. It runs like it was new, i just have a few minor things i want to tweak to make it perfect, and everyone here seems like you have the knowledge to help me.

First up; When i'm going 70mph+ and hit a bump or anytime i go over 85 the speedo will drop down to 20 and bounce around until i go below 60, at which point it resumes reading correctly. Kinda odd, and i know a few people here have had a similar problem with the speedo dropping out.

Second, i want to re-charge my A/C system, but it's still filled with r-12. Any idea how to get rid of it so i can replace it with r-134a?

And last but not least, i want to start modifying my car, and i'd like to start with acceleration. What upgrades should i look at?

Google "hazardous waste handlers" in your area. Those guys are generally the only people willing to do anything with r-12.
