Default new volvo guy needing some guidance

im buying me a 93 volvo 940turbo tomoro, i test drove it today an car ran pretty decent, i just came from being a DSM guy an know those up an down, i plan on putting a boost gauge in the car, but whats the stock boost an most boost i can safely push, also idk what turbo is on there now but its super tiny, i would like to put a 16t on it, but what injectors? also how would you tune? can i throw inectors in an go, or a mass air swap what? thanks in advanced for helping a new volvo guy

most likely it is a 13C

you will need to reclock the 16T to fight. stock injectors are ~33lbs so they will be fine untill you get a tune or eliminate the fuel cut. run 12psi for now.
they sell chips on turbobricks.com search for TLAO or mike's chips. there is also hi-tuning....etc

here is TLAO feedback thread: http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php?t=160114

Send a PM to this guy for chips: http://forums.turbobricks.com/member.php?u=159

yes, they are plug n play. you just need to make sure your ICU has a chippable board. you can use any chippable board from a LH2.4 car.

These are from Fred's list:

remember that even if it has one of these numbers it might be not be chippable. They say the gold, bronze and silver ones are almost always chippiable.

I think mike chargers $175 for both ECU and ICU chips shipped to your door (depending on location?)
i dont remember what other places charge.

not 100% sure once you put the 16T on with stock injectors. every car is different.
