Default the nightmare continues....

Well I got the new blower motor in the car, and was in the process of attaching the blower wheels when ping! off went the spring clip into oblivion. and after calling all the volvo dealer and specialist in town, nobody has any. So....now what? Gorilla glue to the rescue? I don't really want to spend six hours in a junk yard for a .25 cent item.

thats why I call those 'jesus clips'. you try and pop them off, kershwing, "Jesus, where did that go??"

I'd find it, its got to be SOMEWHERE. a strong magnet might help. Hint, it will be in the last place you look!

Default Hmmm.....

Thanks, nice to know, I tried two different auto parts stores here in town, and called two different shops that specialize in Volvos, but they told me Volvo no longer makes or stocks that part. so....it's either junkyard shopping or...? There is a store in town called Eugene fastener, that supposedly carries all kinds of hard to find stuff, problem is these folks are as friendly and help full as ISIS.

Find a good hardware store that has a good selection of fasteners that are in plastic boxes that slide out of a case. In Michigan, they are usually maintained by Midwest Fastener. Lots of cool things...ball bearings, e-clips, switches...

I design things for a living, and they are VERY handy!

Default hardwhere

I hear you, seams the best place I have found for finding various parts is estate sales, all kinds of goodies there.
