no brake pressure
i have been having some serious braking issues with my new 79 244dl.. i bought it being told the brakes needed to be bled, well that was 2 months ago and every week they have to get rebled, they wont hold pressure after driving the car for a couple days. i am asuming maybe a bad caliper piston boot, but it could be something else... any opinions... btw i am not leaking or loosing break fluid at all and i installed a new master cylinder thinking that might have been the problem and it wasnt, so i replaced the elbow that the brake booster vacuum line connects to at the brake booster, and that didnt help.. any suggestions would be nice
Something sounds fishy. It shouldn't loose pressure like that unless it is leaking fluid.
The only other thing I could think for you to look at would be the Branch valve or some know it as the failure valve. It is located on the left side of the car on the frame. It has a wire going to it.It is supposed to trigger a light when there is a pressure difference felt in the system.
