Default No power after attemt to start

I had a strange thing happen to my '91 240. Yesterday morning when I went to start it, I heard a couple of clicks and then nothing. No dash lights, no dome light, nothing. It seemed that the power disconnected. After a 15-20 seconds, the power magically returned. When I tried to start it, it started.

This has happened several times since. I seems like there is some sort of circuit breaker that is throwing then resetting itself. I have heard of this on some new cars but the Haynes manual circuit diagrams don't have anything labeled as such.

Does anyone out there know if these cars have such a circuit breaker and, if so, where might it be located? It has been cold (0-20 degrees F) so is that what might be causing it to throw?

Sounds like battery connections. I would clean them up and make sure they're tight.
