Hi, I have a 98 Plate Volvo 940 on which the stearing rack has just busted passenger side. Key sign if topped up all fine til you turn right on the lock to pull out of a parking space but not left the fluid is simply ejected out under pressure. Apparently the parts are available from small batch supplies to original specifications. Could anyone advise of a garage near to Brighton, UK as possible that can replace and cost. I understand these are a pain in the neck, But ironically my trusty 26 year old 940 passed her MOT without a single mechanical advisory in April and maybe be worth the work if possible to repair at a reasonable cost, At 26 years old she is in good condition having passed its last MOT, And the rack just seems to have fractured without warning due to age?
