Default Problem with EGR Temp - Fault 4-1-3

I have trouble with a fault-code on the EZ116K system. The EGR system is removed, but this give fault on the sensor input. Code 4-1-3.

I hate to drive with the Check Engine Light (Lambda symbol) on.
Can I modify something to fix this problem?

Yes, Fredrick (turbobricks.com) sells Chips for these cars. $300 shipped to your door for both ECU and ICU chips. The chips disable EGR.
He is over in Sweden, and your in Norway, so you would have to add the 25% VAT.
Cheaper route is slapping a resistor where the connector is to confuse the ICU. I have never done it, but It should work.

Thanks. I thought about the resistor idea to. But do you know what resistanse this should have? Or the value on the orginale sensor? Easy to replace the chip in golden ICU -207? Pictures?

I've tried to ask on the Norwegian Volvoforum.no, without results.

Here is all you need to know about chipping the car (Click Here)
Yes, the Golden ICU - 207 is chippable, and all you do is open it up, take out the old one, and slap the new one in.

undo the four screws and you open it up:

Here is the Group Buy info on how to purchase the Chips (Click Here) [this link only works for those with a T-Brick account].

I have been running the chips for a few weeks now, and they work great.

About the resistors...I really dont know which ones you would need, but some guys here would know, also, if you PM Fredrik (Click Here), he can probably help you out with it.

Good luck!
