Default problems with 89 volvo 740 GLE

I have a 1989 volvo 740 GLE.it has a new in the tank fuel pump and inline fuel pump is also new and new fuel filter.i took out the fuel injectors and cleaned them.i also checked the fuel injectors after i reinstalled them and they work fine.relays for fuel pumps and injectors are good.
The problem im having is once the car is at operating temperature it will start to idle rough and if the car dies and i try to restart it,it wont start.the only way i can get it started is if i use starting fluid.if i dont let it get to operating temperature i can turn the car off and start it with no problems.i forgot to mention that it also has new sparkplugs, sparkplug wires, cap and rotor.
If anyone can help me figure out the problems im having,it would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like a fuel component related overheating problem. The new parts you used, especially the fuel pump, may be faulty. The FI relay may be but not likely... still, i'd swap it.

also could be a bad ECT (engine coolant temperature) sensor.
