Quad Round Headlight Upgrades & Fog lights
So what is everyone doing for upgrades with their older Volvos that run the quad round headlights? I am wondering about updating the bulbs/lights on my 1978 245 DL
I know Holly makes updated lights and a number of folks I know have gone that route with their classic cars. Hella?
Looking to improve visibility with night time driving, so figured I would ask.
And do I dare ask about fog lights? Living in the Pacific Northwest (Vancouver Island) we get a lot of it during the winter months. I figure if I add a set they would go under the bumper, and yes I know lots of folks add two or three big round driving lights on top of the bumper.
Picture of the front end for an example.
Thanks in advance folks,
Scott
Are there any real options to upgrade these?

I bet you can find on Ebay some classic Cibie Z beam lenses or Hella H4 conversion kits for the round lenses. If you do decide to upgrade to H4s make sure you wire in relays as they'll probably draw too much current for the switch. (ie use the existing hot lead to trigger the relay and wire the relay load circuit directly to the battery).
