Default Radiator Replacement

I have a 95 940 turbo. Very small leak from top hose connection. Know it's time to replace before it breaks. Not much automotive experience but am handy with tools around the house and supplement my income being part time handyman. From what I have read does not seem too hard but can not afford to get into it and not be able to finish. So, how difficult is it?
The instructions I found say remove 3 screws from bottom of radiator that hold the front air dam on and remove spoiler. Another post said on his 95 he did not have to do this. Attached is a pic of mine. There are 3 of these and look like they could be loosen and turned. Do these hold the radiator in?
Can I remove fan shroud screws and just move fan and shroud out of the way or do they have to be removed?
Any tips or info I should know before I start?
Also any recommendations on what/where radiator to get?

I'm not very experienced with 940s, but I had a 740T, and the design was very similar. I had to replace the radioator. My experience was, unscrew the brackets on top, take off the hoses and lift out radioator. I think yours is probably the same way. The screws, however, may hold on the fan shroud.

What I would do, is remove those two top brackets (#4 Below; pretty easy), and see if the radiator starts to lift out. If so, your good! If not... i'm sure someone else will respond who has more knowledge about 940s.

Top brackets, hoses, tranny lines (carefully, use TWO counter wrenches), lift out, swap the fan... Make sure you get the right radiator for Turbo...

The picture above is for cars until 1991 with mech. fan, you have electric.

You can try to get it on Ebay, sometimes there are deals. I'd avoid questionable brands that sound like a steal--don't want a radiator to fail... Try to get a Nissens or Blackstone.

What's the best way to drain the coolant? Can it be reused?

You may or may not have radiator plug. If you do, it is plastic so be careful not to break it/strip it. If not, use the lower hose. I reuse the coolant if it's still OK...

I would only consider reusing coolant if it was really fresh. if its 6 months+ older, then dump it and get fresh coolant... because our tap water here is rather hard and mineral laden, I tend to use distilled water, mixed 50:50 with antifreeze, my preferred brand/type is Zerex G05, this is the closest thing to the Volvo (and Mercedes) coolant.

re: radiator brands, Nissen is the factory radiator, and its what I've always used.

typically when replacing a radiator, I'll use all new hoses, unless the hoses are very new already. if you do change the hoses, do NOT neglect to change the heater hoses in the back of the engine, these will fail when you least want it, and dump all your coolant, stranding you wherever you are, and because they are tucked away out of site, they tend to be neglected.
