Hey, I recently wired a new radio to my 87 740 gle and I found out that there are no speakers in the rear doors, there are only speakers in the front doors and behind the rear headrests. Is it possible to add speakers to the rear doors that are in series (or parellel, which is better?) with the other rear speakers (The speaker mounting place on the rear doors is there, its that same as the front, just no speakers) How hard would it be wiring the speakers through the doors. Anyone tried this? Thanx a lot!

 

Have you checked in there to see if the wiring is there already?

 

Nope, no wiring there already, I guess I could just wire them with the ones behind the rear headrests. Do you put speakers in series or parralel? Or does it matter? Thanx

 

Just run wires from positive to positive and negative to negative.You will be fine.
