Volvo 740 rear door speakers

Hello everyone. The rear door speakers on my 1991 volvo 740 wagon are getting old and the sound is very static. I am looking to replace them and I don't even know how to remove them. Any suggestions?

They are rivetted in the door panels, behind the speaker covers-have to drill them out.

the ones in my 940 popped out pretty easily...just don't expect to get an aftermarket cover over them as there probably won't be enough room.

Took me about 5 minutes to drill out the rivets in my 940. It is an easy job so don't sweet it. You will need to use the standard speaker grills.
