OK, I'll play. Why the great fascination with the "two pump" Regina? I, mean why would anyone care? "Dual Pump" heads? You are the only one who finds this interesting. Yes, normally Bosch Volvos have two pumps, the Reginas have one. The 1995 940T (Bosch as all Turbos) has only one pump, like a Regina. You can easily modify these cars to have one or two pumps, early 240 get moded that way all the time. There is really no advantages, and no drivability changes, well, some may argue that but it's a minor change.
You car is what, an '89 740 if I remember right, doesn't matter. I am sure you didn't buy it new. Why are you so sure that some dude didn't think that another pump may be what this Regina needed? Or somebody at the Volvo plant had a little too much over the weekend and on Monday, all bleary eyed, forgot that normally these get just one pump and through another one in there just to mess with someone with a mind like yours. That scenario is unlikely, I admit, but you never know.
At any rate, good luck! I hope for your sake you find someone with the same interest in two pump Reginas as you. Now, what I really doubt is that you will find another two pump Regina with two million miles! I bet that will also be a club of one.
