removing drivers door lock switch 1990 740
my 740 has gone from not locking at all to randomly locking unlocking whenever it feels like it. I'd like to fix it but I cant for the life of me get the switch out. I've rounded off the torx screws that hold the latch in but i have to think there's got to be a different way to get it out. anybody have any insight?

If you've destroyed those torx screws, ouch. I wonder if you were using the wrong size torx bit? for an example, T25 bits fit in T27 screws, but are loose.
anyways, you'll probably need to grind those screw heads off, then drill out and retap the holes and get a new set of screws, maybe from a junkyard?
