removing transmission pan
My 92 240 transmission has been refusing to shift into 3rd and OD now. I put it on ramps and was going to change out the filter and fluid. The pan needs to be dropped because there is leakage coming all out of the gasket. A drop about the size of a penny will hit the ground but nvr anything more.
Now, I drained it the fluid first because luckly the 92's have a drain plug go figure. Now, I go try to remove the dipstick connector and IT WONT MOVE. It is like it is seized on there. Can somebody tell me how to get this off, maybe I was turning it the wrong way. Either way, some advice is needed because it will not move at all.
