Replace bumper myself or have shop do it?
I got rear ended but the damage is minor enough where it is just contained to the bumper. My shop told me that they would replace the bumper and bumper shocks for $560.00. I was wondering, is it easy enough for me to do it myself? I never done body work but it doesn't look like it's that hard. The insurance company cut me a check for more than enough, but saving money is always good. What do you think?

It depends on which car you've got, I replaced my 240's bumper shocks myself, it was a snap with a friend to help with lifting the thing. (I spun out and ran into a telephone pole backwards in the snow. The steel I-beam that Volvo called a bumper back in the seventies was fine but the shocks died.)
