Default reviving the volvo

I have an '80 240DL that I have had for about the past 6-8yrs, however it has been parked for about the past 2yrs. I have started it and driven it around the yard a few times just to keep things moving. I had to park it because I was having power issues with it. For instance, on the freeway it did ok, but if there was a hill of any kindit would just get slower and slower even with the pedal buried in the floor. I had to tow it home after work one day because on the way up the hill to work it just got slower and slower and just died, thank goodness there is a parking lot at the bottom of the hill. What do you guys/gals think the prob could be. I have changed the intank fuel pump and fuel filter and nothing seems to have changed. I maybe thinking the injectors are clogged. Any help is more than welcome.

Have the cylinder compression checked out. Sounds like a worn out engine. Are you blowing blue smoke out the exhaust?

I have had no blue exhaust out the tailpipe. It actually passed smog before I parked it.

Could be plugged up cat, or a fuel filter issue by the symptoms described, especially considering it's been sitting..
