Running Wiring for Front Door Speakers

Running Wiring for Front Door Speakers
Any advice on how to do this?
Would this be in any manuals? I currently have a Chilton manual coming in the mail.
I'm curious as to how you would feed the wire from these doors to an amp.
[Volvo 740 (rear door speakers and front dash speakers, no front door speakers)]

Well....unless the 740 is wired differently than any other car I would just run some speaker wire through that boot by the hinges where the power for the windows and door locks run. Take about 10" of stiff wire (coat hanger would work...maybe a little too stiff to work with though) and connect the speaker wire to one end. Then just pull the wire through that boot. Just be careful not to get tangled up on any of the other wires in there. when I did this with my cav i couldn't get the stupid wire through the boot....so i just poked through the rubber (twice) and ran the speaker wire outside the boot.
To feed the wires to an amp....well that depends on where you put the amp. I just hid all my wires under the floor mats because i wasn't ambitious enough to run it under the carpet.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure that it was doable (sp?).
What size speakers did you use btw? I'm pretty sure I don't have the right measurement because I measured the diameter of the hole itself and got like 5.75 inches. (I think I'm not supposed to measure the hole, but I'm not 100% sure what to measure because this would be my first time installing speakers)
(Note: I've done simple electronics repairs and taken apart tons of equipment)

I just put some sony's in my 740's rear doors. The size i used was 5 1/4, but they are a little small, and you may only be able to get 2 of the 4 screws in (they hold it fine anyway) but maybe you could do 5 1/2 and they may sit better. Plus you get a little more boom. Good luck man.
