Hi there. My 1992 240 wagon is sitting a little low in the back end. This isn't a big deal, what I don't like is that the driver's side sits about 1 1/2" lower than the passenger side. It looks pretty obvious when looking at the space between the wheel well and the top of the tire.
I have replace the coils, shocks, torque rod bushings, and trailer arm bushings!! I just finished this up tonight and when the car came down off of the jack and was STILL sagging, I cringed! Any other suggestions? Why one side?
BYW, the DIY trailer arm tool works, but when those rear trailer arm bushings are (and also the torque rod) are in there with nature's welding (rust), they are a Bi$%^* to get out. I had to take the trailer arms and torque rods to a shop that then used a press and pneumatic chisel.
I'll await a response from anyone who has more ideas on sagging.

If the springs are the right height and in equal condition, there should be no sag unless some bigger issue like a bent, twisted frame from a previous accident has deformed the unibody.

 

I installed ipd HD springs on my 740 when it was sagging. It was not leaning. Maybe a ganster use to own it.
