Seat cushion foam; it's 2017, what do?
1990 240 DL Sedan. The foam is broken down on the right side so the seat is a little uncomfortable. At first I thought the seat structure was bent or broken, but no... it's the cushion foam.
All the threads I can find on replacing seat foam are ages old now, and the few sellers that were around then were crazy expensive anyway, and junkyard seats are going to be old enough the foam is already deteriorated even if there are no rips. I was thinking of using good ol' camping pad foam, but that stuff is usually coarser (and therefore more squishy) than OEM foam. So is there a thread somewhere on how to DIY some replacement seat foam, or sources for suitable foam I can cut down myself?
