S60/V60 Back Seat Cushion
Hi everyone,
I recently got a 2012 V60. In my old V50, I was able to make the seats lay flat by pulling up the back seat cushion (the bit where you sit on, not the backrest).
I've read this Removal of back seat cushion but I can't seem to find the clips on the bottom of the seat. The car is a demonstrator and I want to vacuum under the seats and know how to lift up the seats in case something falls under the seat.
Can anybody please help me with this? I understand that the seats fold pretty flat in the V60 anyway. I asked my salesman and he said that it wasn't designed that way. Hopefully the S60's seat design is the same as the V60.
There's also crumbs under the booster seat too... can't stand it!
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Well I haven't taken the seats out of a V60 yet as we have just started getting them last week. On the S60s though, in order to take them out there are clips located at the upper part and right hand corners ( the corners closest to the passenger and drivers seat). You need to take a flat head screw driver and press the center of the clip in and pull up in the seat.

Thanks so much for your reply. Couldn't find what I was looking for. I tried to reach behind the seat to lift it up but I'm afraid that I'll break it. When you get the chance, could you help me to find out how to lift up the seat? My salesman said that it wasn't really designed like that but I'm eager to start vacuuming under the seat because the car was a used demonstrator.
Please let me know. Thanks!
