Ahh...they're pretty much finished. Everyone always puts up pictures of sweet finished rides...thought I'd put up pics of a few that didn't make it! My GT thread is here...

Default Sea Dog and matching Volvo Wagon

Here is my "new" 5 speed Volvo 240 Wagon. I bought it for $1805 two days ago. It is a fine shape for 230,000 miles. I've just ordered a bunch of parts for it, one headlight, door pockets, new front turn signal indicators, and more. I still need to order a new hood hinge bracket which cracked and was welded poorly. I hope I can still get this. I also want to put in a big tachomeer, small clock and voltmeter and a stereo. I'm thinking about Hydra wheels too. I like the stock wheel covers but the selection of 14" tires is very limited. It has undersized tires--probably because the prior owner could not find any in the correct size.

Best of all, the car matches my sea dog. I've named the car Sea Dog.

I like the two door models. Very sharp looking. The tinted windows look awesome. I was thinking about tinting my wagon. The silver paint and dark tint go well together. I've been thinking about the Virgo Wheels also. Can you post a higher resolution picture of the silver car? Another profile picture or a quarter view so I can better judge how those wheels look?

Nightsailor, I'd try to polish that headlight before buying a new one. Unless something is wrong besides a little oxidation you've got on that one. You could clean it up nice with some polishing/rubbing compound or maybe a few rounds of wax even. But maybe money isn't an issue for you.

I already ordered one. But I'll take your suggestion, thanks, as I move this over onto my nieces car which has problems with both headlights--the lenses are loose.
