Default shuddering front end

Ok, I have an '89 740gl. This car has a strange problem of shudering at low speeds. It only occursunder light to moderate braking pressure. It doesn't seem to exist at highway speeds; and if I brake heavier, the problem seems to go away. Today, my wife was telling me that itfelt as if the passenger wheel was going to fall off and now she's afraid to drive the vehicle. I'm thinking it's something in the tie rods or a balljoint going bad.

Does anyone have suggestions as to where this problem might lie?

I would definitely jack up the front end and see what's loose ASAP, especially if it feels like the passenger wheel is going to fall off. It could be any one of your guesses or all depending on the condition.

I found the problem. The front right rotor is slightly warped. Not to mention all the old parts and bushings in the suspension.
