Speedometer Sender Wiring
Hello,
I'm new to the forum, I just bought a 1993 940 Turbo yesterday and am starting to fix all the small things wrong with it. My speedo & odo are not inoperable, and I noticed one of the cables to the speedo sender was broken. I was so excited about not having to re-solder the circuit board that I disassembled the plug without noting which wire goes to which side of the harness. There is a red wire and a green/white wire. The inputs to the plug are marked 1 and 2. Does anyone know how to match up the wires to the plug? It would require a quick look at the back of the differential

wiring diagram says pin 2 is green-white, and pin 1 is brown or brown/white at the connector/seal where the wires leave the trunk near the pickup.
at the speedo, green/white is "S+" and brown/white or brown/green is "S-". at the instrument panel "D" connector, green-white is D:1, and brown/white is D:2
