Squeeling Sounds When Braking

Squeeling Sounds When Braking
title is pretty self explanitory. however, it happens sometimes. i've recently went through a car wash that cleans under the car with a powerful jet stream of water. the sounds have began ever since this car wash. could that be the reason? hope this is a simply job i can do myself. They sell brake lube on the checkout counter at autozone, it goes on the back side of the brake pad.
Remove wheel, use jackstands.
I remove bottom caliper bolt and merely loosen the top one, lift (rotate)the caliper up .
It usually requires a screwdriver to get it moving at first. I think they're 13mm bolts.
They can be rather tight bolts too, I use a pipe over the end of the ratchet for leverage.

RE: Squeeling Sounds When Braking
I hear ya, I got halfway through a balljoint job on my truck and had to re-assemble it again to move it for the snowploughs , working with 3 sets of gloves due to frozen tools is no fun.
Now I have to dis-assemble it again but theres snow forecast so...
I'd gladly suffer squeeling brakes for an inspection sticker on my truck.
