How remove bolts from 1986 240DL starter? Took it to a shop last time and paiad $100 to remove the upper bolt. Not accessible from engine compartment or from underneath. The guy said there's a door/opening to it from car floor? Can't find it . Loo

 

?? the upper bolt is accessible with a 19mm/3/4 socket, a swivel(ujoint), a long extension with an air gun or ratchet. There's no opening in the floor and it's not needed.

 

Its a tight fit homie!!! With extension swivel and shallow 19 mm you can get it. Pre pb blaster the bolt
move the oil dip stick out the way. Be careful of leaning on the throttle body stuff!
try to cone thru at a slight angle.
