Default Steering Rack

hi everyone,
i have to change the inner bearing rod-ends of my steering rack. there is a certain amount of play and the wheel alignment cannot be carried out.
i believe volvo put in two types of steering racks. one from zf and the other from cam/trw.
now my question how to tell which one fitted to my car?
thanks

(ps. the volvo mechanic spoke of a type 2 rack as per label on door pillar)

Default RE: Steering Rack

By the inner tie rod Boot that covers it you have a Cam rack.
If you had a ZF rack the boot would look different at the end on the small part of the rod.
