steering rack ID, check?

steering rack ID, check?
hey now,
im new to this forum, and i'm about to embark on a front suspension rebuild on my 1991 240 wagon.
i need to know how to identify my steering rack (CAM or ZF). ipd says that there is a plaque with a code located on the sheetmetal near the radiator. i see nothing like this in my car, however there is a similar plaque on the fenderwell with a few codes stamped on it, but they are not labeled. The bottommost number on this plaque is the number 2, could this be it?
