I have a 1983 245 i purchased new strut tube inserts a couple months ago i bought them on line. the website said they got 76-93 245's. When i tried to install them in the strut tower they wouldn't fit. The old strut inserts had a step at the end and the new struts did not.
The screw on retainer wouldn't fit over the new struts.
I did notice that the strut towers were labeled "1991" on the side with the standard junk yard paint pen.
I am beginning to think the website sent me the wrong strut inserts.
Had anyone come across thus problem before?
