I should have suggested it earlier, but you should consider doing the camber mod. I just did it on my own car, and its extremely simple to do. You just need a proper drill bit and a Dremel with a grinding tip. There's a number of descriptions of the mod online. In my case, I drilled a hole in the strut tower as it was by far the easiest method and its even a method Volvo recommended to dealers to respond to customer complaints about uneven front tire wear.
I didn't go crazy with the camber, but it should be just enough to address the tire wear issue without making my car look look funny with tilted front wheels. I prefer the OEM look.
The result is even tire wear (I'm assuming, as I have barely driven the car with the new mod), better turn-in, and even better steering feel in my opinion.

Great Mechanic in Chicago
I just wanted to post my story for anyone in the Chicago area. I moved to Chicago, 2 1/2 years ago driving a 1999 S70 Volvo. I went on line and found a gentleman at Volvochicago@live.com!! He has been so great, let's me know when I need to change something in the next couple months. Not like dealership where they want to do everything at once! His prices are really reasonable and I take my car to his house. I was out of town and my car broke down, I text him and he had me tow it to his house. I just rolled over 226,000 miles(drive a lot for my job) He told me he could keep it going till 300,000!! That makes me happy!!
