Default Throttle body/Cruise Control cable adjustments

I've looked around for throttle body adjustment on my 89 740 gl 2.3 red block and found my answers but as far as the 3 cables (tension wires) for the throttle & the cruise control I can't seem to find anything useful! I've recently replaced the following in the last few months:

 Rear U joint
 Support boot & bearing
 Crankshaft position sensor
 Oxygen sensor
 Thermostat and seal
 Intake gasket
 Carburetor gasket
 Cleaned carburetor
 New vacuum lines
 Engine coolant temperature sensor
Grounded main earth ground wire to engine block

RPM sensor
 Engine coolant temperature sensor

As I listed above, I've cleaned the throttle body/valve and adjusted to Volvo standards. But I feel like the cables have such importance and I need help!

Thanks,
Christopher
