Default Urgent help needed

Yesterday my key snapped in the ignition of my 1998 Volvo 940 Estate (Automatic).

I've had a master locksmith out who can't get it out, despite trying for half the day. It's truly stuck. Now I've got an issue where I can't turn the ignition and the car is stuck in park on the gear, with the rear wheels locked. I'm trying to get it towed to a garage but the access is a bit tight, and with the wheels and steering wheel locked it's a bit of a challenge without skids.

Is there a way to manually override the gear from parking without the ignition to release the wheels?

If not, anyone in the Perthshire area want to buy a car for parts?

can you push down the release button on the shifting console to move it out of park?

It's fiddly little handle you need to pull up to release the shifter from Park. It's hard to find but it's there, you may have to remove the plastic surround to get to it but that's not that difficult, two torx screws under the parking brake handle.
