Default Urgent Help Needed!

hello everyone.

so i was driving on the highway last night going about 120kph. noticed the car was overheated and the temp gage was in the red. couldnt pull over quick enough and the car stopped running. was stuck at the end of an exit ramp. lots of smoke coming from the engine. car leaks oil so i assume thats where most of the smoke was coming from. got a push and left the car on the road for about 3 hours. came back and it wont start. towed it and tried again this morning and still no start. sounds like the sound you hear right before the spark goes. have topped up coolant as well.

SUGESSTIONS!

Maybe the headgasket blew between the cylinders and not into the coolant port.
Maybe a compression test is in order.

alright everybody. i think my beloved 740 is dead. head gasket is done. wont bother taking it to a machine shop. i dont think its a good idea to drop the x amount needed to get the car back in shape. gasket was changed in the car 6 years ago. seems like a pretty short while for a gasket to last. car was neglected quite a bit by the previous owner. i did everything i can to restore the car's dignity. now theres coolant all over my driveway and runny oil off the dipstick. car wants to start but it cant.
