Vacuum Hose Identification
Hi all!
Just recently picked up my first Volvo 240DL from a coworker on the cheap.
I need help with identifying a small vacuum hose that has broken off close to the firewall.
The hose comes out of the firewall slightly left of center and about 2 inches below the hood seal lip. It is a single hose with an odd looking rectangular tab on the fitting where it comes out of the firewall. There is a bend on the remaining portion of the hose that suggests the hose went towards the drivers side of the engine bay, but I can not find anything with a missing hose. The hose is very small, on the order of maybe 1/8th of an inch OD. I havent been able to find where the hose goes once inside the dash.
Any help is appreciated.

Just wanted to clarify:
The vacuum hose in question exits the firewall right beside where the upper air conditioning hose exits the firewall.
Could it be for the cruise control, possibly? Or is my cruise control unit an electrical one? My cruise control is currently inopearable.

Yes, that is it indeed, and thanks for the photo! Now I know where it needs to reconnect..
