Default Vibration / Groaning noise at 50-60 mph

I have an 89 240 DL and seem to have a vibration approaching 50 mph. It actually sounds like road noise in the car or maybe if one had really beefy treads on snow tires or something. The other thing I noticed is when I slow down I hear a clicking sound coming from the front end I believe? I recently (about 2 weeks ago) changed my front and rear brake pads. (rotors were fine). I recently changed my differential fluid and it's still full.
I checked the front brakes today and nothing is loose or missing. I've never changed the front bearings on any car. I'm wondering if they're starting to go bad? Could it be a driveshaft bearing? Just wondering too if anyone with a 240 has had this vibration.

Your vibration is most likely a tire balance issue. Or may be internal to the tire... check into that.

The clicking, need more info.

What kind of "diff fluid" did you use? And where is the vibration coming from? Front back, does the steering wheel shake? Does it feel like the car hops? Does it do it more when you are accelerating, decelerating, or maintaining a speed? Also did you make sure to torque down your calipers when you did the front brakes? You said the rotors were "fine" what do you mean. No big grooves, not cracked, not worn at all, not outside ridge, within spec? Do you feel a pulse through the brake pedal when you press it?

A bad bearing makes a wubba wubba sort of sound, and it will be louder when turning one direction as opposed to the other.

tedv- I am due for new tires real soon. On Sunday I am going to change my tires to my snows real quick to see if the vibration goes away. I have the car parked for now because the noise has gotten worse.
adub96- I used 80W90 diff fluid, the whole car seems to vibrate and it gets worse as I accelerate up to 60 mph. I didn't actually torque the caliper mount bolts because I just changed the pads only. (didn't remove the calipers) The rotors didn't have big grooves, they were smooth, no cracks. No pulsing at all in brake pedal.
I'll be doing some troubleshooting Sunday when I can get under the car.
Thanks for your replies.

Default vibration...

I had a bad vibration, turned out to be rear universal joint, Only I didn't figure it out until the yoke that holds the u-joint broke....
When I was going 50-60mph and let off on the gas pedal , the vibration stopped ...Usually you will hear a clunk when you give gas (stopped, in nuetral).....
If it's your tires it will continue whether accelerating or not...
Just something to check.... I'm far from an expert, just sharing an experience......
