Just got everything finally fixed! Problem with the last noise was the clip as I suspected. I was given some weirdly sized clips and pins for the pads that were stubbier than the ones I had previously. The clip was making contact with the top of the rotor and scraping it. Also added some silent brake goop on the back of my shims as well. Now I'm braking better than ever in complete silence! Thanks for the help everyone!

it is well worth it to do that job. i did all 4 pads/rotors/ebrake last year including 2 rebuilt calipers on the rear and the car brakes like new i would wager.
