Default Volvo 240 speaker playing lower than others

My driver door speaker is playing much lower than the other, if I put the balancer on the radio to that side it plays alittle louder not really sure what to do

You could swap left and right to see if it's the speaker or the tuner.

I just tried that with a different speaker and the same thing, the tuner? Like on the radio it's a brand new radio so I hope not

Start by testing different music sources - ie AM, FM, CD, MP3 etc to see if they all have the same issue. Next is to test switching left and right. Finally its possible you have a bad ground on the wiring so you may try bypassing the factory wiring and test directly from the head unit to the speaker to ensure the wiring is good (not sure if Volvo does this but some cars actually use the chassis as the return rather than a two lead wire...) If you have an after market radio you should have the PIN out for the connector. You can also find the diagrams for Volvo connectors online specific to your year. If you have a separate power amp for the speakers, you should test the connection between the head unit and the power amp as well.
