Default Volvo 940 b230f swap

Hello, i am new to the forum and i have a few questions. I have 1992 Volvo 940 with b200f engine that has bent valves, and i am thinking of swapping it to b230f, because you can get one cheap and it has a bit more grunt. Is b230f just bored out version of b200f? Can i just straight swap the engine without any major modifications or do i have to swap the ECU and wiring loom as well?

Where are you? B200 was never available in the US but, yeah, there is no reason why a B230 wouldn't fit right in. The ECU and wiring should work just fine, I think, although I am not familiar with the B200, but it shouldn't be too different...

Thank you for your response I am from Europe, mistaken and it had 109 hp, but i can't find much info about it. As much as i know they should be pretty much identical. So i am wondering if the wiring loom and ECU is necessary for swap or it is just simple motor plug and play.
