Anyone recognize this part or where it goes ( See Attached Photos)? Found it in the trunk of my grandsons 1990 240 DL that I am helping him with. My Haynes and Chiltons manual obviously are not much help.

May not be a Volvo part at all...

 

Read what is says 'Property of Peninsula Sanitation' not 'Property of Volvo'. Also has a phone number molded in. Call them and ask if they want it back?
