1995 960 misfire
Have you tried swapping coils with another cylinder?
If number 2 still misfires, then you need to determine if there is spark to the plug, if not, then the wiring is suspect or the power stage is faulty. If there is spark to the plug, you need to make sure there is fuel reaching that cylinder. If so, I would also do a compression test.
The power stages, there are two fire the coils, one in front of the intake manifold bulbous part controls 1, 3 and 5, the rear facing one does the evens.
You then will have to swap them, the back one is easier from under the car to access.
If the power stage is faulty then the miss will move to another cylinder, if it still misses, the you need to check for injector problems, does it click at idle?
Then do a compression test would be the final test.
