I have a 1995 960 wagon with 160,000 miles on it. I bought the vehicle used and have recently been having a few problems with it and I was wondering if anyone could give me a hand in figuring out the issues as this is the first volvo i have owned. First off the with the transmission mode selector. The selector is set on economy (E), but the lights constantly flash alternating between sport (S) and weather (W). Also I have been blowing a lot of fuses, mainly the fuses for the power seats, power windows and sunroof as well as for the dashboard lights. I have replaced the fuses for the dash lights and this fixes the problem for about a month or so and then they blow again. Another problem im having with the seats and windows is that they will not operate when the car is running. The only time I can move the power seats and windows, along with the sunroof is when the ignition is in the "ON" position. Any help on any of these issues would be greatly appreciated.
I pulled the codes and this is what I got
Port 1
2-1-3 ECM; TP sensor signal high input
1-4-3 Transmission kick down switch

Port 2
4-1-1 Throttle switch signal faulty or missing
2-4-1 EGR Malfunction

 

checked in VADIS diagnostics; for a 95 960 - no 2-1-3 listed, 1-4-3 bad knock sensor, 4-1-1 throttle pos sensor, 2-4-1 egr sys /flow malfunction/leak.
