960 stumbles, then dies
Hi All-
Been a while since I've been on here- the 960 has run well until recently, now she had developed this random stumble and shut down issue. Only does it at idle or at a stop light, and always starts right back up. Dies quickly, almost like turning off a switch- not like running out of gas or something, although there is a stumble just before she dies.
Seems to run fine on the road- doesn't die when driving. So far all I have done is to remove the idle control valve and clean it up a bit. Didn't help.
Anyone have a similar issue? I know it's not much to go on...
Thanks-
Brady

This forum hasn't worked right for a while. Even before that, this forum has a limited number of people.
Culprit can be many things. It can be Coolant Temp Sensor, wires, spark plugs, fuel pump, injector(s), busted vacuum line, throttle switch connector, etc. etc. etc.
You need to tell us a little more. What is you vacuum at rough idle? Fuel Pressure? Have you pulled any codes? When was last tune-up?
