Annoying dome light issue

I know this is a minor thing, but my dome light on my S90, with the doors closed, is on in the full forward position and full rearward position. The middle position is obviously OFF. How do I begin to chase this down?

Start with cleaning the switches on the doors. They get dirty over time.
