My 97 V90 blower motor started acting erratic and finally crapped out, so I bought an aftermarket item and installed it. Couple of hours of contortion and skinned knuckles, and I had a working fan.

It was a revelation...the old fan must have been working at half speed, long before it died, because this new fan blows a TON of air through the cabin. My a/c has always been cold, but on really hot days it couldn't quite keep up. Now it blows like a gale.

This might be the most rewarding small repair I've ever done.
