Default Brake Lights and Fuel Gauge Ques..

2 questions... The brake lights are not coming on when steping on the brake... how would I fix this. My quess would be to check the fuses, and then the brake switch(what exactly do I look for in the brake switch), and the bulb is fine.

Also the Fuel gauge doesnt work at all... Its on E... what should I check?

It can be three things, Sender, Guage, or wiring. You should be able to check the guage by grounding the sensing lead. It should could go to full(or empty) I think it should go full though. If the guage doesn't move then it's the guage, if it does it is probably the sender in the tank.

I don't know, but there should be a wiring harness coming out of your fuel tank. If you can dissconnect it and find the wire that runs to the guage you can ground that wire and see if the guage moves. I've never seen the back of the instrument cluster, but if you find the right lead you can check it there also. I don't have wiring diagram or I would tell you exactly what you are looking for.
