I have a 1997 960. Ive noticed that the AC compressor wont engage when i turn on the AC. the relay works fne and the fuse is working. The compressor engages when I trip the realy. Is there something telling the computer not to engage the compressor like low freon? Any ideas?

 

Have the freon checked. A low charge will stop the compressor.
